How do I calculate the monthly cost of a car?
Take fuel cost (annual distance ÷ efficiency × fuel price), add yearly costs such as insurance, tax, parking and a maintenance reserve, then divide by 12. Enter the values in the calculator to see the monthly average and cost per km right away.
What if I do not know my fuel efficiency?
Search the car name in the car calculator to fill efficiency from Korea Energy Agency official label figures. Real-world efficiency may differ, so check and adjust it.
Is an EV or a petrol car cheaper to run?
It depends on distance, charging prices (home, public and fast charging mix) and fuel prices. Enter both cars with the same distance and horizon on the compare page to see the energy and total cost difference.
Is a loan, lease or long-term rental better?
It depends on interest, prepayment, deposit, mileage allowance and whether you return or buy the car at the end. A fair comparison uses the same horizon and end state; the calculator does not rank options when they differ.
Are my inputs stored or sent anywhere?
